thanksgiving

We lost a couple of family members over the weekend, and everyone is in shock about it. It was all very unexpected. They were only 47 and 49. It's made me think a lot about how lucky I am to even be here, writing this stuff down for the Internet to read. I'm thankful for my wonderful family and friends and my husband who is amazing and for a job that ensures that I have a roof and food and money to pay my bills. I'm thankful that I live in a beautiful city that I love where I can go to the beach, see a baby panda whenever I feel like it, and buy Tofurky at Trader Joe's.
Be safe this weekend. Have a great holiday.

The hands of fate brought me to find your Blog tonight and I was touched deeply. If you don't mind I'd like to share what you are writing for the world-wide-web, with the world we live in at my radio station. I'm Kris Toledo the host of San Diego's night show called Love Songs on SOft ROck Kicksy 96.5. And tonight your thoughts encompass exactly the sentiments I hope to share with my SD listeners..and our listeners who miss being here for the Holidays. My thoughts are with you and I am sorry for your sudden loss. There is never anything anyone can say when a tragic loss affects your life, but if it makes any sense of things, I want to let you know that by sharing your thoughts tonight, you have made me remember to be grateful and thankful tonight, and by doing that, we will certainly affect the thousands of people who need to be reminded that it is Thanksgiving not just at the table, but in the heart. Happy Thanksgiving xoxo
